Yes. In case of delinquency in payment of credit card debts, credit card companies can secure repayment of debts in different methods. If a debt is large enough, banks can file motions to freeze the debtor’s bank account and take funds from it. However, in certain states, money from Social Security, public assistance, veteran's benefits, unemployment and funds used for the care of a minor, such as child support public are protected from it.
