Cancer insurance is a supplemental insurance coverage that covers the cancer expenses or treatments that are not covered in a regular insurance policy. In purchasing such, it would help to understand its coverage and your medical history including the familial history of cancer, should be considered to know your risk of having cancer. Note also that pre existing condition is applicable in such coverage. Meaning, if you were already diagnosed to have breast cancer and you apply for a cancer insurance coverage, treatment for breast cancer would not be covered anymore.
