Most do, however, the effect of your credit score on your insurance premiums and ability to secure insurance varies greatly from company to company. Generally, you should be able to get auto insurance at a reasonable cost even if you do have a poor FICO score. This is an area where you need to shop around and if you find yourself having a problem with agents that represent just one insurance company, consider going to an independent agent who can shop a variety of insurers.
