You can collect business debt in a number of ways. The best way is to call your debtor and try to work with them in a way that can benefit all of you. If that doesn't work, you can employ the use of a collection agency, which is trained to move things along and get the money you're owed. Lastly, you may have to go to court to collect business debt if the other means doesn't do the job. Court costs and time make this the most undesirable way of collecting business debt, but if your owed a significant amount of money, it could be well worth your while.
