Two of the easiest ways to invest in REITs is through REIT mutual funds or buying shares of REIT companies that are publicly listed on stock exchanges. REIT mutual funds invest in both publicly and privately listed REITs, allowing diversification among different REIT companies. Investors can easily purchase the shares of these funds through banks, financial advisory companies, brokers, or representatives of these funds. Buying shares of publicly listed companies is just like buying stocks. Some examples of tickers of REITs whose shares are traded on stock exchanges are SPG, VNO, BXP, etc.
