Raising business capital will depend on what stage of the business cycle you're at. To raise startup capital, you usually use your own cash, credit cards or equity in your home. If you have an operating business and it has the chance to grow exponentially, seed capital from a venture capital company is a good possibility. Operating capital is usually lent by a bank or in some cases, business suppliers, as the proven track record allows the data for solid decisions to be made.
