You should consider marketing a tool to sell your products. What information should consumers have that will make it easier for sales to move the product? First, choose a target market. It is best to begin with a narrow market that you can expand once it is saturated. To gain information about who your target market is, what they are willing to pay for your product, where they are located, how they normally purchase products and other data relevant to your most effectively communicating with your target market, do market research. This often comes in the form of polls, surveys and questionnaires. Be sure to poll over thirty members of your target market in order to have statistically significant data. Next, make some decisions about your data- what does it tell you to do? Follow it. Next, develop a prototype; a few models of your product. Communicate your value proposition- why your product will enhance your customer's life- through marketing tools like advertising to sell your product. Advertising now comes in an array of digital and electronic media as well as print. There are many ways to communicate with your target market; explore them. Run a marketing campaign where you distribute a value proposition via a few channels you have chosen. Measure the sales response. Tailor your next distribution accordingly.
