With location being obvious when looking to buy a property, and you doing your own research as to the type of people who live in the area, your questions should focus on the structure of the property and what it would take to develop or bring up to great shape. Lawyers should be employed for any type of legal questions, and so they are an integral part of the process, and will set up any offer for the property to be dependent upon all things being as the owner of the property says they are. Other than questions related to the condition of the property, other questions could relate to whether there are any types of local rules and regulations that would hinder what you want to do with it. Even hyper-local associations could have rules you are required to operate by. So be sure to find out if any of these exist or not.
