The NYSE is closed for the following US holidays: New Year’s , Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Washington’s Birthday, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving day and Christmas.
The Euronext holidays for European markets are: New Year’s, Good Friday, Easter Monday and Christmas. The exact days these holidays are observed for a given year can be provided on the referenced link below.
Also to note, there are a few occasions where the NYSE will close early (typically at 1pm est) before a holiday. There is also a tradition in which after a President of the United States has passed the NYSE will close in observance.
