A broker fee is usually the comission your broker charges to complete a transaction. Depending on your broker, this can be anywhere from $2.00 to $50.00. If you make a lot of trades, your broker will likely give you a discount. It's vest to shop around and find out not only who has the best prices, but what other services that broker offers.
