The Series 63, like the Series 7, is one of the licensing exams that is given that will allow you to solicit orders from a client. I believe that it also goes by the name of the Blue Sky Law test. Passing this test will allow you to solicit orders around the country.
Typically, anyone who is taking the Series 7 exam will also be taking the Series 63. It is a much shorter test than the 7, and covers more specific facts than the 7 which will ask you to figure out problems in sections as well. Instead of being conceptual which many parts of the Series 7 are, the 63 requires you to know facts.
