There is no concise answer to this question. The best investment for one retiree could be the worst possible choice for another. Conservative investors should look to bonds, bond funds, CDs and fixed or indexed annuities. More aggressive investors should consider stocks, stock mutual funds and real estate. But the right investment is always relative to the investor's investment objectives, risk tolerance and time horizon.
