There are 3 types of auto insurance namely liability, comprehensive and collision. Liability auto insurance is protects you from paying huge potential liability suits (if you are at fault in an accident) and settlements. Comprehensive insurance is the coverage when it pays the replacement of car or repair cost of the vehicle when stolen or when something happens to the car that is not of your own control. Lastly is the collision wherein it shoulders the expense when your car gets into an accident and whether you are at fault or not, the insurance will cover the expense for the repair.
