Investment information on publicly traded companies is typically available from their website, where you can access Annual Reports- the reports that companies give to shareholders at the annual meeting to explain the state of the company- and 10k reports, a summary style financial document required by the SEC if the company is worth $5M or more and has 500 shareholders or more. Look for "investor information" or a similarly titled link. If the company sells stock, and sometimes in other cases, companies/ mutual funds/ etc must report a large amount of information to SEC every year, thanks to the Sarbanes-Oxley Law. The easiest place to get SEC documentation is from the SEC at http://www.sec.gov/edgar.shtml . Other viable sources include: http://www.annualreports.com/ and http://www.prars.com./index.php. Financial sites like Morningstar, Yahoo Finance, Google Finance, and Bloomberg all tend to offer past filings as well, usually under "filings", "financials" or "reports".
