Hiring a property manager can solve an array of tasks. Properties have a variety of needs, and they vary depending on the type of property. On a large agricultural property, a property manager would play a role much more akin to farmer: clearing fields, lowering the fire risk, removing downed branches, etc. In a multi-unit rental property, the property manager plays the role of handling all maintenance and issues that arise from tenants. Property does not make money all on its own; in most cases, it requires diligent maintenance. This says nothing of the financial requirements of property, such as paying annual taxes, which property managers may also do.
