Michael Haltman

Michael Haltman has spent the bulk of his 20+ year career working at some of the largest firms on Wall Street in several capacities. His first position after earning his MBA in Finance was as a municipal bond analyst for Shearson/Lehman Brothers, responsible for determining the credit quality of issuers and therefore the suitability for investors with varying levels of risk tolerance. From there he became an institutional salesman and finally a municipal bond trader.

He went on to create the high yield municipal bond department at PaineWebber, responsible for the research, trading and sales functions. Finally, Michael was in charge of the trading desk and sales at the brokerage arm of Citigroup, a proprietary equity trader at Opus Trading and then went on to open his own firms specializing in mortgage title insurance and commercial mortgage lending.
