E mini Heating Oil Meaning:
In commodity market terminology, E-mini Heating Oil refers to futures contracts of half the size of the regular Heating Oil contracts that are traded on the NYMEX. Heating Oil is also known as No. 2 Fuel Oil and accounts for 25% of the output of a barrel of crude oil, the second largest component after gasoline. Heating oil is burned by furnaces to warm buildings.

E-mini Heating Oil contracts are traded electronically on the CME Group�s Globex electronic trading platform. E-mini Heating Oil contracts are for 21,000 gallons of heating oil and are based on the NYMEX New York Harbor No. 2 Heating Oil Futures contract. Prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars with a minimum fluctuation of $0.0001 per gallon or $2.10 per contract.
