RBOB Gasoline Meaning:
In commodity market terminology, RBOB Gasoline refers to a type of petroleum product known as "Reformulated gasoline Blend stock for Oxygen Blending". RBOB is the new benchmark form of gasoline and is traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange, the CME Groupís Globex and ClearPort electronic trading platforms.

RBOB Gasoline Example:
RBOB Gasoline futures are traded in contracts for 42,000 gallons of RBOB gasoline. Prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars per gallon and the minimum fluctuation is $0.0001 per gallon or $4.20 per contract. The symbol for RBOB Gasoline is RB.
