Finance for small business is an integral part of any nation's economy. To get business owners to start and risk their own capital in order to add goods or services to the economy is a major plus at the macro level of an economy. Therefore, many governments have corporations that have the exclusive purpose of delivering capital to these small businesses. Often the arrangements will match the dollars of what the business owner can match or will require collateral so that the business owner has an interest in the business as well. They also usually have smaller maximums for each loan so that they may fund a large volume of enterprises. The final feature of these loans is that they require interest payments and will not exchange funds for an equity piece of the business.
