The OTC stocks can be purchased through your broker / dealer. These stocks can be very risky and the market very volatile so it is important to talk to your financial advisor about the investment and how to place the order (I.e. Limit, GTC). There are many ways to place an order, with a volatile market you and your advisor may decide to place orders to purchase and to sell once the shares hit a certain price. Your advisor can provide guidance and research to support your joint decision on the investment and price ranges. In the United States the OTC stocks typically would be found on the Nasdaq, OTCBB or Pink Sheets.
