A small business needs enough insurance to cover the majority of potential problems which arise from living and doing business in general. In other words, if someone has the potential to get hurt on your property, you need business liability insurance, for acts of God and other risks from having a property, like an electrical fire, business property damage insurance in needed. If something unexpected were to happen to you, business disability insurance could help you financially survive in difficult times. Those are the three major insurances you should have when owning a small business. There is also something called 'key employee' insurance, where is something happened to a employee that could be destructive to the business, you would be covered there as well.
