You do and millions of other investors who buy stocks daily and by the minute throughout the day. The market for U.S. stocks that are traded on major exchanges is one of the purest in the world. By that I mean that it has relatively no government interference in the prices quoted for stocks and it is too big for any single player to manipulate. Instead all those investors buy and sell to each other and without interference reach agreement minute by minute on the fair price for a stock at that particular time. We can only hope that it stays as pure a market as it has been for many years.
