Why do companies outsource?

Companies outsource when they can get a high return of profit from human capital by sending a part of their business (like customer service) from their country to a country that will employ people cheaper. Non-specialized jobs are the most common to go because it frees up a company to invest in technological departments, or any other kind of unique trade.
