LMEX

LMEX Meaning:
In commodity market terminology, LMEX refers to the London Metals Exchange Metals Index. The LMEX is a weighted index of six, designated, primary metals which include: Primary Aluminum, Zinc, Nickel, Lead, Copper and Tin.

The LMEX Index has both futures and options that are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are traded in Index points with each valued at $10.00. Futures contracts trade in all months and are cash-settled by computing the difference between the Index on the prompt date and the value of the Index in the contract, and multiplying by the contract size.
