Plastics Futures Meaning:
In commodity market terminology, Plastics Futures refers to futures on plastic-related products such as Polypropylene and Linear Low Density Polyethylene. Both products are traded on the London Metals Exchange or LME.

Plastics Futures Example:
Both Polypropylene and Linear Low Density Polyethylene futures contracts trade on the LME in lots of 24.75 tons per contract and are both quoted in U.S. Dollars per ton with varying global delivery points for each contract. LLDPE contracts also trade on the Dalian Commodity Exchange in Dalian, China where contracts are quoted in Chinese Remnimbi.
