In commodity market terminology, Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC refers to a polymer of vinyl chloride that can be made into a vinyl resin having a wide array of industrial uses. Polyvinyl Chloride is used in making wrapping plastic for food, as well as in more rigid items such as pipes, upholstery and fibers.
